I would like to collect IOPS generated on one of our mail servers to see if our disk subsystem is taxed or not. Anyone know which perfmon value to use?
so far I've added:
Logical Disk\Disk Transfers/sec for the disk with all the mail files which is on the SAN. But I'm not sure this is the right one or enough.
SAN Vendor claims RAID5 4+1 config can handle up to 11000 IOPs before performance levels off. This server would be the only LUN on that array.
The perfmon stat I'm pulling is averaging 400 so it appears the array can easily handle the load.
Thanks!
